Incorporated into the English language is the term Smörgåsbord which is a buffet style meal often used for celebrations.Everybody has been skiing but how many have tried snowshoeing? When you are done walking on it, sleep in it at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi which is also a great place to catch the Northern Lights. Some even get married in the ice church, perhaps a sign of things to come…The capital, Stockholm, is a very interesting city and will keep you busy for ages. Kids will especially enjoy the Grona Lund amusement park complete with a Viking Ship ride.The kingdom has 9 neighbours including Denmark, Germany and Norway. Despite being part of the EU for over 15 years, you will see Swedish Krona billed on your credit card statement.
