You are singing my song! You hit it right on the head. My favorite brand of travel is now the volunteer vacation. While I appreciate a lovely hotel room and a fantastic meal in a fine restaurant, I can no longer imagine traveling without spending most of my time volunteering. Thank you for your post. Hopefully it inspires others to walk a little deeper into the villages and come away with another way of looking at our wonderful world and the amazing diversity offered.
