
The Socialist Republic of Vietnam is said to be the latest Asian dragon to wake; and it’s true. Life in Vietnam is simple but fast-paced, and the country itself is blessed by wonderful coastlines, beautiful mountains and rich rice fields. Vietnam has adventure written all over the country with caves to explore, ancient temples to discover and delicious food to intake. Vietnam has a rich and colorful history, and the Vietnamese are inviting everyone to take a part of it.Vietnam houses to UNESCO World Heritage sites; the first of which is Halong Bay where one could discover the most interesting caves which to name a few include Do Go or The Cave of the Sticks, Hang Trinh Nu or the Virgin Cave, Thien Cung Grotto or the Heavenly Cave and the Sung Sot Cave or the Surprise Cave. The other half is the city of Hue, which is Vietnam’s ancient capital which also houses famous tourist attractions such as Cua Bgo Mon or the Noon Gate, the Thai Hoa Palace, which also called as the Palace of Supreme Harmony and the Imperial City which is also referred to as the Citadel.Beautiful and historic cathedrals can be found in another city in Vietnam called Ho Chi Minh city, where travellers are free to explore and to sightsee.Apart from the tourist attractions mentioned above, Vietnam has so much more to offer; soul searching is only the first activity that one can enjoy when they first step foot in the country.
