Public Vietnam holidays are the days that workers are allowed to take off from working. Since 2007 the number of holidays workers are entitled to in Vietnam are 9 days, an increase on the previous 7 days holiday a year.
- 1st January – New Year’s (Tết dương lịch)
- Final day of the final lunar month to the 3rd day of the first lunar month – Vietnamese New Year (Tết Nguyên Đán) – usually around late January to early February
- 10th day on the third lunar month – Hung Kings Commemorations (Giỗ tổ Hùng Vương)
- 30th April – Liberation Day (Ngày giải phóng)
- 1st May – International Workers’ Day (Ngày Quốc tế Lao động)
- September 2 – National Day (Quốc khánh)
